Hello again and Happy new year to you, 2009

The following is an interview I did with Ron Pro of  www.DirtCars.net a new blog for the review of dirt racing tracks…

ronkel: How long have you been at your current job?

RonPro: I just had my 10 year anniversary on Nov. 3rd 2008

ronkel: Have you ever been with any other company that long?

RonPro: No, before I started delivering concrete my wife and I were, as some would say living a gypsies life.  We would travel around, setting up at art and wine festivals, arts and crafts shows and any events that had a craft section for selling.  We did this for 9 1/2 years.

ronkel: What did you sell?

RonPro: Mostly my wife would make jewelry, gemstone beads, silver etc.  I made some dream catchers and would put together little pewter trains on agate and amethyst pieces and crystals.  We sold a lot of gem and mineral related products.

ronkel: Why did you quit and get regular jobs?

RonPro: Simple, health insurance and retirement.

ronkel: Are you glad you did?

RonPro: Looking at the big picture I have to say yes.

ronkel: Lets shift gears a little and tell us about dirtcars.net

RonPro: Ok, Dirt cars.net is a dirt track racing review site.  People can send in there reviews of local dirt tracks they have been too.  As well as read  the reviews of other tracks they might want to go to in the future.

ronkel: Sounds cool, how many reviews do you have on there now?

RonPro: I just launched the site a couple of days ago, so there are only a couple so far.

ronkel: It sounds like a great idea, does it cost anything to post a review?

RonPro: No, all you need to do is send your review and a picture or video via email and we proof it and post it, no charge.

ronkel: Can track owners send a review?

RonPro: Yes, we encourage them to send a review of their own track.  Who would know the track any better than the owner or promoter.

ronkel: I wish you the best with it and want to thank you for this interview, keep up the good work!

RonPro: Thank you for the exposure, just type in http://www.dirtcars.net
