Want to do your own RV repair? Read these educational RV tips!
One sure fire way to not have to do any RV repair! Look in the yellow pages under RV rentals, if you always rent an RV instead of owning one you will never have to repair it. However that can get expensive, if you do any serious RVing at all. Just once or twice a year I would recommend RV rentals, rather than have your RV setting on the side of the house with weeds growing up under it.
You have the initial expense, maybe some tires or other minor things like a mirror, antenna or anything. Then you have the expense of insuring it. Again for one or two times a year I would recommend a nice RV rental that you can go pick up when you want to go and take it back when you return. Not to mention never having to look for any RV repair shops.
Today you don’t have to look very hard for RV sales, a great deal is just around the corner. But you have to be ready to purchase when you find it because they are going fast these days. A good RV is great to find! I just went through looking for an RV for my Pops. He will agree there are an awful lot of rigs for sale that need a lot of work. He was diligent and patient. He burned a lot of gas looking for about a month. When he found that great deal, he was educated enough to know it and didn’t hesatate.
Any used RV is going to need a little TLC. The trick is to find one that needs the least amount. RV parts are not cheap but the majority of what would need to be done is not that difficult to do your self. That’s were RV education 101 comes in.
